China's Zhong and Zhou reach top 16 of Olympic men's sabre individual

    BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's Zhong Man and Zhou Hanming Tuesday advanced to the round of 16 in the Olympic men's sabre individual event.

    Zhong beat Kothny Wiradech of Thailand 15-7 in the round of 32, while teammate Zhou outscored Hungary's Zsolt Nemcsik 15-13.

    But their fellow Chinese Wang Jingzhi was knocked out after loosing to Frenchman Julien Pillet 15-14.
