MADRID, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid's Brazilian winger Robinho on Tuesday expressed his disappointment at being forced to miss out this summer's Olympic Games in Beijing and indicated the possibility of leaving the club.
Robinho was forced to pull out of the Brazilian squad for Beijing last month after Real Madrid said he had an injury that meant he could not play for his country.
However, that injury has not stopped him playing for Real Madrid as his presence against Arsenal in the Emirates Cup on Sunday showed.
Robinho took advantage of his time in London to speak to Brazilian newspaper Globosporte where he expressed his disappointment at the decision taken by his club.
"It is very hard to know that I will have to watch the Brazilian national team in Olympic Games on television. Everyone knows that my wish was to be there with them. But Real Madrid didn't want to let me go. It is very sad," said Robinho.
The 24-year-old has been at Real Madrid for three seasons now and this summer he has been the subject of intense interest from Premiership side Chelsea. He refused to rule out a move to England.
"I still don't know if I am going to stay at Real Madrid. The season has not yet started and I have got offers from other clubs. I have an offer from them (Chelsea). But there is nothing concrete. We are in conversation," he said.
