SEOUL, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will hold a summit meeting in Seoul next week, South Korea's Presidential Office said Monday.
Rudd, who is to visit South Korea on Aug. 10-11, will have talks with Lee on next Monday, the Presidential Office said, adding that the two leaders are expected to discuss measures on expanding practical bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, politics, diplomacy, security and defense.
The two leaders are also expected to exchange views on launching bilateral free trade agreement negotiations and reinforcing reciprocal cooperation in the energy and natural resource sectors, local media said.
