AIPS president confident of successful Olympics

    BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Chinaview) -- Gianni Merlo, president of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), said on Friday that the organizing works of the Olympic Games are very well-done.

    Merlo said he felt "very fresh" when he arrived here on Thursday though he has been to the country several times.

    "It (Beijing) is really different now, there are lots of beautiful changes." Merlo added in an interview with Chinaview.cn. Full story
