Special report: 2008 Olympic Games

LUSAKA, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Amateur Boxing Federation of Zambia (ABFZ) told the three boxers to blame themselves if they fail to mint medal at Beijing Olympic Games, according to Zambia Daily Mail.

It quoted ABFZ acting president Stephen Simpemba as saying in Ndola Monday that Light welterweight Hastings Bwalya, welterweight Precious Makina and flyweight Cassius Chiyanika had been adequately prepared for the games and theABFZ had done its part.

It was now up to the boxers to put in their best and make Zambia proud, Simpemba said.

He said Makina's late inclusion in the team was not an excuse for him to come back home without a medal.
