AMMAN, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's equestrian champion Ibrahim Bisharat has prepared well for the Beijing Olympics, according to local daily Jordan Times.

Dubbed the youngest Jordanian rider to ever take part in international events, Bisharat has participated the 2004 Athens Olympics and qualified for the Beijing Olympics after an impressive record at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany.

"Being part of the Olympics is a great feeling as you meet all those big names in sports, share a moment with them and at the same time learn from the best," he said.

Bisharat will join six other Jordanian athletes to compete at the Beijing Olympics that kicks off on August 8.
