MANILA, July 29 (Xinhua) -- At least 10 people died and scores were injured when two buses collided in the Philippines' eastern province of Camarines Sur early Tuesday morning, local media reported.
The incident took place along the Maharlika Highway in Pamplona town at some 4:15 a.m., Philippine news network Inquirer.net reported.
The collision, between Silver Star bus from the Visayas and an Executive Carrier bus going to Naga City, was so strong that it split one of the buses, according to the report. Passengers injured have been brought to nearby hospitals.
Police are still investigating the incident.
