HELSINKI, July 25 (Xinhua) -- The Finnish Olympic team hopes to get three medals with at least one gold medal in the coming Beijing Olympic Games, according to the Finnish Olympic Committee on Friday.

The committee began to select the members of the Finnish Olympic team since last December, and 54 athletes have been nominated so far.

The final squad of athletes will be at least 57, but there is a possibility that the number will rise over 60, said the committee.
