SANTIAGO, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Chilean President Michelle Bachelet Wednesday signed a tourism cooperation agreement with visiting Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus.
The agreement seeks to boost tourism of the two countries and further promote their relations.
Adamkus arrived in Chile accompanied by a delegation comprising cultural minister, vice minister of economy, undersecretary of foreign affairs and the charge d'affaires of Lithuania to Chile.
Adamkus, who will stay here until Thursday, is expected to meet with President of the Supreme Court Urbano Marin and the chief of the Chamber of Deputies Juan Bustos.
Chile is part of Adamkus' South American tour that also includes Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
