Olympic torch relay in Shandong concludes

    JINAN, East China, July 23 (Xinhua) -- The Olympic torch finished its tour in East China's Shandong province at 10:45 a.m. in Jinan Wednesday.

    Diving queen Guo Jingjing and men's 3-meter springboard veteran Wang Feng lighted the cauldron at Jinan Qilu Software Park as the last torchbearers.

    The Olympic torch relay in Jinan is the last leg of the sacred Olympic flame's tour in the province.

    The relay kicked off in Shandong Monday and went through Qingdao, Linyi, Qufu and Tai'an in the previous two days.

    A total of 832 torchbearers participated in the relay in Shandong.

    The torch will then leave for central province of Henan.
