JAKARTA, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Recommendation of The Commission of Truth and Friendship (CTF) Indonesian-East Timor will be preceded to a Plan of Action.

"Perhaps, in the beginning of next month, there would be a follow up of the commission's recommendation," the Indonesian foreign ministry's spokesman told reporters on Friday.

The CTF was formed in 2005 for further investigating 1999 mayhem in East Timor. The finalized report was submitted to the heads of state of the two countries, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and President Ramos Horta.

The Indonesian government will also hold an inter department meeting soon with authorized institutions regarding the CTF's recommendation.

A bilateral commission will be formed to discuss technical issues recommended by the CTF such as two countries' borderline management.

The final report of the CTF was surely accepted by the international community, said Faizasyah. If only there are some notes which were not included in the report, it was not more than a reference for the two countries.

"South Africa succeeded in handling the issue of apartheid, and is accepted by the international community until now. So, the mayhem in 1999 in East Timor was not different from that case. CTF's report should be accepted also," said Faizasyah.
