Russian boxing to win seven medals in Beijing Olympics

    MOSCOW, July 16 (Xinhua) -- The Russian boxing team expects to win at least seven medals in the upcoming Beijing Summer Olympic Games, said a team leader.

    The Russian boxing team will go to the Far East seaport city of Vladivostok for adaptive training for two weeks before the Games' opening on Aug. 8 in the Chinese capital, team chief Andre Baranovtold local TV channel on Wednesday.

    He predicted that his team is hopeful to win seven to 11 medals while local media have forecast three gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
