    CHANGCHUN, Northeast China, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Olympic torch relay in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, kicked off at 8:10 a.m. local time at Changchun Sports Center.

    The first torchbearer is Wang Jiaqi, an academician of Chinese Academy of Science.
