9 Vietnamese to attend Paralympic 2008

    HANOI, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Nine Vietnamese athletes will compete at the Beijing Paralympic Games in September in China, local newspaper Youth reported Thursday.

    The nine people include four weightlifters, three track and field athletes, one swimmer and one judo fighter.

    Paralympic 2008 will take place in Beijing from September 6 to 15.

    Twenty-two Vietnamese athletes will compete in taekwondo, table tennis, athletics, shooting, badminton, weightlifting, gymnastics and wushu at Beijing 2008 Olympic Games next month in China.
