BEIJING, July 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Serena Williams who won Zheng Jie Wednesday will fight against her older sister Venus Williams at the Wimbledon finals for the third time.

The two-time champion overcame two rain delays and served 14 aces to down Zheng Jie 6-2, 7-6 (5), who was the first Chinese player to reach a Grand Slam semifinal and also the first female wild-card entrant to reach the semifinals at the All England Club.

"I'm quite satisfied with the performance I had today," Zheng said through a translator. "But her serve was too big for me, especially on the grass court. But if on other courts, probably I would have had a better chance. Even in the second set I might have the chance to win it."

To reach the semifinals, 133rd-ranked Zheng upset top-seeded Ana Ivanovic and three other seeded players.

Venus Williams, a four-time Wimbledon winner, beat Elena Dementieva, the fifth-seeded Russian 6-1, 7-6 (3).
