Thai PM starts China visit

    BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej arrived in Beijing on Monday, kicking off his four-day official visit to China.

    It is his first China trip since he was appointed prime minister in January this year.

    During his stay, Chinese President Hu Jintao is scheduled to meet with Samak. Premier Wen Jiabao will hold official talks with him.
