BEIJING, June 20 -- One of China's best-known actresses is making another career breakthrough. Li Bingbing will release her debut album early next month.

    The unnamed album took over a year to make, the report says. Li Bingbing joined the Singapore-based music company Ocean Butterflies in April 2007. The company also represents such popular singers as A-Do, Jeff Chang and JJ Lin.

    JJ Lin himself has been involved in producing the album, particularly in writing the top single, Sohu says.

    Li Bingbing, 32, has been prolific in both film and television productions. She was most recently seen in the action blockbuster "The Forbidden Kingdom," together with Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
