BEIJING,
June 19 -- Daniel Craig, Hugh Grant and Robbie Coltrane raised 19,000 pounds
when a kiss with the threesome was sold at a charity auction on Tuesday night.
The James Bond actor, "Bridget Jones" Diary' star and
"Harry Potter" actor all puckered up to kiss "Casino Royale" producer Barbara
Broccoli, who paid the staggering sum for the smooch.
Other items sold at the auction to raise money for
The National Film and Television School included the dinner jacket worn by
Daniel in the most recent Bond film "Casino Royale," which sold for 9,500
pounds, and a signed proof of the J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the
Philosopher's Stone, " which fetched 18,000 pounds.
Daniel and Hugh competed in a bidding war over a set
of 'Harry Potter' memorabilia, which Daniel eventually won and paid 18,000
pounds for. Hugh was unlucky again when he put in a bid for two walk-on roles in
a Working Title movie, but failed to match the winning 18,000 pounds.
The evening - which was hosted by Jonathan Ross and
also attended by Rowan Atkinson, Anne Robison, Richard Curtis and Lord Richard
Attenborough - raised 400,000 pounds for the school, double the 200,000 pounds
they expected to make.
