NEW DELI, May 29(Xinhua)-- Thirty seven people were killed and seven others injured in a road accident in Karnataka of southern India Thursday afternoon, according to the NDTV.

    The accident happened when a lorry in which they were traveling plunged into a river in Hassa district of Karnataka.

    The lorry, which was carrying a marriage party, was packed with more than 100 people.
