MEXICO, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Mexican forward Omar Bravo left Chivas del Guadalajara soccer club to move to the Spain's Chivas, club vice president Nestor de la Torre announced Thursday.
"Yesterday I had a meeting with Omar Bravo and his manager. I was notified that he has an agreement with La Coruna club of Spain, therefore he concluded his tie with the institution," De la Torre said in a press conference.
After seven years, Bravo finished his contract with the only team that aligns only Mexicans, therefore, according to the FIFA's(International Federation of Association Football) regulation, he could join the club that better suits him.
De la Torre said that the end of the deal was done in good terms and that even they tried to keep him with salary that would made Brave the best-paid Mexican forward.
After Bravos' participation in Germany World Cup where he scored two goals against Iran, Bravo has decided to emigrate to Europe.
If his pass to La Coruna club is done, Bravo would become the 15th Mexican player that will play in the next European season.
