    BEIJING, May 16 -- Medical experts in the disaster affected areas say there are no disease outbreaks, but there is a task ahead for public sanitation. Medical teams have arrived in the disaster affected areas to help with rescue and relief.

    CCTV reporter Han Bin is following a medical team from China's Academy of Military Medical Sciences, the PLA's top medical research institute to give us the latest update.

    Another batch of medical equipment is reaching Chengdu. 

    Gao Sizhong, senior Colonel of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences, said, "Those basic supplies are for saving people and epidemic prevention, in particular if there is a disease outbreak after the massive earthquake."

    Gao Wuchun, professor of The Academy of Military Medical Sciences, said, "Because of the water and power cut, the sanitary conditions are not good. It's understandable. So there may be problems with food and drinking water."
