Special report: 2008 Olympic Games

BUENOS AIRES, May 8 (XInhua) -- Defending champion Argentina's coach Sergio Hernandez on Thursday announced 10 names including four NBA stars for his Olympic team.

The four playing in the United States' National Basketball Association (NBA) are Emanuel Ginobili, Fabricio Oberto, Luis Scola and Andres Nocioni.

The 10 players will start working together as of July 4 at Rosario city, where a Super-4 Basketball tournament will take place with the participation of Argentina, Uruguay, and Mexico.

The list made public by Hernandez also includes Pablo Prigioni, Antonio Porta, Nicolas Gianella, Carlos Delfino, Federico Kammerichs, Leonardo Gutierrez.

Hernandez said he only aims to take two center players, therefore Gianella and Porta will fight for the position, while the other center is almost surely going to be Prigioni.

Hernandez said he will evaluate the players to determine the final 12 players for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

Hernandez said he intends to go (to the Olympic Games) with "seven attacking players and five in defense".
