HAVANA, May 4 (Xinhua) -- One of Cuba's and the world's greatest boxers ever, three-time Olympic champion Felix Savon, takes up painting brush to fight nostalgia away.
"Painting allows me to express myself and relax, to fight the nostalgia that hit me when I retired from boxing," said Savon in an interview published on Sunday by Juventud Rebelde daily.
"People loved me when I boxed, but I feel different since I stopped boxing, it is not the same," said Savon.
Savon's first exhibits includes 15 surrealist paintings, which have daring and fresh ideas, commented artist Lazaro Valdez.
