"Miley will share her inspiring story, spanning from her Southern roots in Tennessee to the excitement of her record-setting triumphs in TV, music and film," Disney Book Group said in a statement.

The daughter of U.S. country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, 15, has had a cult following since her television show hit the airwaves on the Disney Channel in 2006.

The series tells the story of a teenager who leads a double life as an ordinary school student who hides her famous life as pop singer Hannah Montana from her classmates.

The book is scheduled to hit bookstores next year.

Disney has sold more than eight million soundtracks from the television show, while Cyrus's concert tour last year sold out everywhere she traveled.
