HANOI, April 18 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam and Oman inked here Friday an agreement on double taxation avoidance and income tax evasion prevention, Vietnam News Agency reported.

    The signing will create favorable conditions for supporting stronger economic and investment relations between Vietnam and Oman in particular and between Vietnam and the Middle East in general. The agreement follows the recent establishment of a common investment fund of Vietnam and Oman.

    Vietnam has so far signed double taxation avoidance agreements with 49 countries and regions.
