HANOI, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Three members of the "reactionary organization" Viet Tan have recently been deported from Vietnam, local newspaper Saigon Liberation reported Tuesday.

The three members, including a 35-year-old Vietnamese Swiss woman named Nguyen Thi Xuan Trang, a 39-year-old Vietnamese American man named Mai Huu Bao, and a 28-year-old Vietnamese Australian man named Nguyen Tan Anh were found illegally taking photos of the southern office of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security in Ho Chi Minh City on April 3.

The three people confessed that their illegal actions were made under direction of Viet Tan, the newspaper said.

In 2002, local police discovered that Viet Tan had instructed a number of its elements in Vietnam to gather a clandestine suicide squad to assassinate local state officials. After the squad was wiped out by local police, Viet Tan has focused on launching reactionary radio channels and distributing leaflets under the cover of democracy and human rights, the newspaper said.
