BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Oscar winner Robin
Williams' second wife filed for divorce on Friday at a court in San
Francisco after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, media
reported Thursday.
Williams' representative, Mara
Buxbaum, confirmed the divorce case but had no further comment.
An attorney for his estranged wife, Marsha Garces
Williams, would not comment on the case.
Williams, 56, and Garces, 51, met when Garces worked
as a nanny for Williams' son Zachary from his previous marriage to Valerie
Valardi.
The couple have two children, an 18-year-old daughter
and a 16-year-old son.
Williams won a best supporting actor Oscar for his
role in the film "Good Will Hunting." He has been nominated for an Oscar for
three other movies: "Good Morning Vietnam," "The Fisher King," and "Dead Poets
Society."
Garces has worked as a producer on several of
Williams films including "Jakob the Liar," "Patch Adams," and "Mrs.
Doubtfire."
