BEIJING, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor
Dai Bingguo met on Monday with Mongolian Foreign Minister Sanjaasuren Oyun,
aiming to cement bilateral ties.
China and Mongolia were seeing sound development of
bilateral relations and were expected to deepen concrete cooperation so as to
contribute to both countries, peoples, and peace and development in northeast
Asia, Dai said.
In response, Oyun said Mongolia's policy was to
develop long-term stable relations with China, and Mongolia would like to
continuously deepen the partnership of mutual trust.
Mongolia always believes that Tibet and Taiwan were
inalienable parts of Chinese territory, Oyun said, adding his government
understood and supported the Chinese government's measures in dealing with the
Lhasa riots.
Oyun is here on an official visit as guest of Chinese
Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
