HARBIN, March 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Wang Meng surpassed two speed skating world records as she broke the marks in the women's 500-meter and 3000-meter relay events at the world short-track team speed skating championships here on Sunday.
Wang, the Olympic 2006 champion, who smashed the world record in the 1000 meters event on Saturday, clocked 43.514 seconds in the 500 meters event.
She went on to break the relay world mark in four minutes 10.814 seconds with teammates Zhou Yang, Liu Qiuhong and Fu Tian.
Wang, who also won the 1000m silver medal and the bronze in the1500m at the 2004 Turin Olympics, is unbeaten this season over 500m.
