    BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Cao Jianming was elected procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China Sunday morning at the ongoing session of the 11th National People's Congress, the top legislature.
The sixth plenary meeting of the First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) is held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, March 16, 2008. The NPC session vote on the nomination of Chinese premier, and vice-chairpersons and members of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China. The top judge and procurator-general will also be elected.
