    BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Wu Bangguo was reelected chairman of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee on Saturday morning at the ongoing annual session of Chinese top legislature.

    Wu, born in 1941, had been chairman of the 10th NPC Standing Committee since March 2003.

    He is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

13 vice-chairpersons of NPC Standing Committee elected

    BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Thirteen vice-chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC),China's top legislature, were elected on Saturday morning at the ongoing NPC annual session.

    They are Wang Zhaoguo, Lu Yongxiang, Uyunqimg, Han Qide, Hua Jianmin, Chen Zhili, Zhou Tienong, Li Jianguo, Ismail Tiliwaldi, Jiang Shusheng, Chen Changzhi, Yan Junqi and Sang Guowei. Full story
