BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Hu Jintao, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, was reelected president of the country Saturday morning at the ongoing session of the 11th National People's Congress, China's top legislature.
Hu, born in 1942, had been China's president since March 2003. Full story
BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Hu Jintao was reelected president of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and chairman of the PRC Central Military Commission (CMC) at the fifth plenary meeting of the First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) here Saturday.
The plenary meeting also reelected Wu Bangguo chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and elected Xi Jinping vice-president of the PRC. Full story

BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Wu Bangguo was elected chairman of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee on Saturday morning at the ongoing annual session of Chinese top legislature.
Wu, born in 1941, had been chairman of the 10th NPC Standing Committee since March 2003. Full story

BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Xi Jinping was elected vice-president of China at the ongoing session of the 11th National People's Congress Saturday morning.
Xi, born in 1953, is one of the nine members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China(CPC) Central Committee, and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee. Full story

BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Thirteen vice-chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC),China's top legislature, were elected on Saturday morning at the ongoing NPC annual session.
