BEIJING, March 8 -- After two years at the top of Tatler's best dressed list, supermodel Kate Moss has been toppled by rising star Agyness Deyn.

    The 25-year-old, who was famously spotted while working in a fish and chip shop, secured the top spot in the annual chart, with Moss coming in second place.

    It's not the first time she has been overshadowed Deyn, who has emerged as a playful, fun-loving, fresh-faced alternative to Moss, who's alleged drug-use, hard-partying and occasional poor choice of company appears to be catching up on her.

    Deyn also took over from the 34-year-old in the latest campaign for luxury brand Burberry.

    The pixie-haired blonde, whose real name is Laura Hollins, stole the spotlight at London Fashion Week in September and has also been named Model of the Year.

    She has featured on the cover of Time magazine and fashion house Zara has even ordered mannequins designed around her.

    Tatler noted: "Whether she's sipping chai at the Russian Tea Rooms in Primrose Hill or kicking back at Henry Holland's studio. She's fash-fabulous... Rockin'."

    While few have disputed her star quality, she did cause something of a stir last year after it was revealed she was a number of years older than first thought.

    In a series of interviews last year it was been reported that the model was 21 and internet databases also claim she was the same age giving her date of birth as February 16, 1986.

    A piece in a New York magazine piece even said her birthday was in 1989, prompting a Facebook page to be set up entitled Agyness Deyn You're Not 18.

    Her listing on the Companies House website, under the name real name, showed her birthday as February 16, 1983.

    Regardless, her popularity has continued to soar, and has even been compared to the likes of British modelling icon Twiggy.

    Praise has come from all quarters, but Deyn insists she's not entirely flawless, revealing: "I've got really bad feet."

    Meanwhile, Tatler's list also features Russian model Natalia Vodianova, Atonement star Keira Knightley and model Stella Tennant.

    Belgian model Anouck Lepere, who dates Moss' ex Jefferson Hack also made the list, as did Lady Lynn de Rothschild and Kirsty Bertarelli, wife of billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli.

    Tory leader David Cameron's wife, Samantha, came in at number nine for being "consistently chic and never flash," with T4 presenter Alexa Chung rounding out the list at tenth place.
