Elections were held in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful way and now power will be transferred to the elected representatives smoothly and as per relevant provisions of the Constitution, Memon said.
According to the official results of the general elections released by the Election Commission of Pakistan last Saturday, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) emerged as the largest party in the National Assembly (NA) and would form the government in the center.
