SINGAPORE, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Singapore and Portugal have concluded an open skies agreement, allowing for full flexibility on air services operated by carriers of both countries, the Singapore government said Tuesday.
The agreement will become fully effective at March 2010, according to a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
It will enable Singapore carriers to operate flights as frequently as desired between Singapore and points in Portugal, as well as beyond Portugal to any other city in the world.
Similarly, Portuguese carriers will be able to operate any number of services to and beyond Singapore.
With this agreement, Singapore has concluded such deals with more than 25 countries. ¡¡
