WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Fourth seed Lindsay Davenport of the United States made her way into the Memphis Championships third round with an easy 6-1, 6-1 win over Russian Evgeniya Rodinaon Wednesday.

    Davenport blasted 11 aces and never lost her serve to win the match in 50 minutes, converting all five of her break points.

    Davenport will next play 17-year-old Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark.

    In another second-round match, third seed Shahar Peer of Israel defeated Melinda Czink of Hungary 6-0, 3-6 and 6-2.
