The Galaxy, and its famed midfielder David Beckham, will face the Hong Kong Union on March 9 at the 40,000-seat Hong Kong Stadium.
The tour will begin Saturday in Seoul, South Korea against FC Seoul. The second game will be played on March 5 in Shanghai, China against Shanghai-Hong Kong United.
All three games will be televised in the United States by the Fox Soccer Channel, the first and third live at 11:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. The game against Shanghai-Hong Kong United will be shown on a delayed basis at 8 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on March 5.
Foreign tours are among the ways the Galaxy hopes to meet its goal of generating 100 million dollars a year in revenues, which would put it among the top tier of teams around the world.
