WASHINGTON, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- A U.S. teenager who was shot over a
snowball fight died Monday in a hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, police
said.
The victim, Tavin Rutledge, 16, has been at Temple University Hospital in
Philadelphia on life support since Sunday and was pronounced dead on Monday
morning, a police spokesman told reporters.
Rutledge and a friend were having a snowball fight in their Feltonville
neighborhood of Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, when they accidentally hit a
man in his 30s.
The man became enraged and went home. He returned with a gun and shot
Rutledge in the head. The shooter is still at large.
The shooting was one of three over the weekend in Philadelphia. In the
other two shootings, one man was shot to death and another was
wounded.
