BEIJING, Feb. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- At only 84 cm tall
and not even 9 kg weight, Aditya "Romeo" Dev of India, the world smallest
bodybuilder, is causing a huge stir in his hometown and gaining international
recognition.
Throngs
of people crowd into the local gymnasium on a daily basis to watch him work
out.
Using custom-built 1.5 kg dumbbells, Romeo, 19, pumps
iron daily to prove that small is beautiful.
While most dwarfs have large heads compared to their
bodies, Romeo is perfectly proportioned, and despite his diminutive stature has
triceps, biceps, calves and thighs that would make many a full-grown man blush.
In addition to his bodybuilding, Romeo is also
training to be a dancer, according to the Telegraph.
He
was recognised by the Guinness Book of Records in 2006 following three months of
intense exercise.
