JERUSALEM, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- Swede Jonas Bjorkman will meet Dudi Sela in the opening singles of the Davis Cup tie between Sweden and Israel in the Davis Cup World Group first round series on Friday.

    Thomas Johannson faces Harel Levy in the second singles after Thursday's draw in Herzliya.

    Australian Open champions Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram of Israel face Robert Lindstedt and Simon Aspelin in Saturday's doubles, with the reverse singles taking place Sunday.

    The games will be played at the hard-court Israel Tennis Center's Canada Stadium in Ramat Hasharon outside Tel Aviv.

    Israel is making its second ever appearance in the World Group after beating Chile in last year's playoffs. Its first appearance was in 1994.
