BEIJING, Jan. 29 (Xinhuanet)-- A German travel
company is launching special nude flights to allow holidaymakers to indulge
their love of naturism, according to media reports Tuesday.
Naturism was authorized in former East Germany and
people there feel nostalgic for it, said the company.
"All the passengers will fly naked, but they are only
allowed to undress once they are in the plane. But then they will be able to
enjoy the hour-long flight in the way God intended," said Enrico Hess, the
founder of OssiUrlaub.de.
There are 50 seats on board the jet and one passenger
needs to pay 499 euros (about 735 U.S. dollars) for his flight.
The first nude flights will be a day-trip on July 5
between Erfurt in southeast Germany and the Baltic Sea island of Usedom.
The pilot and the flight attendants, however, will
keep their clothes on.
