The Zoological Society of London in the UK has launched
the top 100 list of the world's weirdest, most wonderful and rarest amphibians.
Ten endangered oddities:
Chinese giant
salamander
Andrias davidianus
This salamander can grow to up to 1.8m in length and has evolved independently from all other amphibians on the planet. It is endangered.
