ISLAMABAD, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- A trainer aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed in North West Frontier Province (NWFP) on Tuesday, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

    The T-37 aircraft crashed near Swabi in NWFP, the report said, without mentioning the cause of the incident. Local TV channel Geo said the pilot was killed in the crash.

    A PAF spokesman said that a rescue team had been dispatched to gather facts.
