BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhuanet)--
A vendor was found selling a human skull at Belgrade flea market, local
media reported Saturday.
The seller asked 100 Euros (about 145 U.S. dollars)
for the skull, which he said was found in a closet.
Many curious lookers were attracted to his stand, and
some asked the price but none offered to buy.
"There are no real buyers, people only ask the price.
I've been trying to sell it for ten days," said the vendor who refused to be
identified.
The skull originally belonged to Belgrade's Institute
of Forensic Medicine, he claimed.
A pathologist estimated it was approximately 50 years
old and said there were signs showing it had been treated by pathologists.
