Photo taken on Jan. 7, 2008 shows an
ancient arch built in China's Qing Dynasty (1664-1911) at Yaobao town of
Hejiang county in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Yaobao Town built in
Northern Song Dynasty (960DC-1127DC) once was an important dak on the road
connecting Sichuan and Guizhou in southwest China. So it was entitled
"Corridor between Sichuan and Guizhou". Dotted with over 2000 ancient
houses with tile roofs built on the mountains, Yaoba now is noted for its
time-honored beauty and is named as "Living Fossil of Ancient Buildings."
