BEIJING, Dec. 20 (Xinhuanet)-- After troubled Jamie Lynn and Britney Spears become the media target, the Christian publishing company Thomas Nelson decided to postpone the publication of a book by the two celebrities' mother.

The publisher on Wednesday announced its decision to postpone the release of Lynne Spears' parenting book indefinitely.

The Lynne Spears memoir "Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World" about raising her two celebrity daughters was slated to hit bookshelves on May 11 -- Mother's Day.

The change in plans was reported to have something to do with Jamie Lynn's recently revealed pregnancy.

"I can tell you that we are standing behind Lynne and supporting her decision to be with her family at this time," Lindsey Nobles, a representative for the publisher said. But she refused to give any comment on the events.

The 26-year-old elder sister Britney lost primary custody of her two sons, aged 2 and 1, to ex-husband Kevin Federline after their divorce last year and is engaged in a bitter custody battle, while the 16-year-old younger sister Jamie Lynn told OK! Magazine Tuesday she is pregnant.
