BEIJING, Dec. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- A Canadian
schoolteacher sold his son's hard-to-find video game "Guitar Hero III" for 9,000
dollars, which he bought for 90 dollars as a Christmas gift to his son.
After catching his 15-year-old son smoking marijuana, the father decided to sell out this video game as a
punishment.
The sale took place after the father spent two weeks
searching for the video game for the Nintendo Wii gameboard.
In the eBay listing page, the father wrote:
"Yesterday, I came home from work early and what do I find? My innocent little
boy smoking pot in the back yard with two of his delinquent friends."
"I know smoking a joint isn't the end of the world,
but if you can convince me that he deserves the gift, then I will end the
auction," the father said.
The game was bought by an Australian buyer.
