HANOI, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- A coach hit a container truck in Vietnam's northern Quang Ninh province, killing five people and injuring 14 others, local newspaper Pioneer reported Friday.

    The accident occurred in Cam Pha town on Thursday when the coach pumped into the truck running in the same direction.

    Traffic accidents killed 10,892 people in Vietnam in the first 10 months of this year, up from 10,436 in the same period last year, according the country's National Traffic Safety Committee.
