ALMATY, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said Monday that his country will continue to pursue a plural foreign policy.
The priority of Kazakhstan's foreign policy has not changed, Nazarbayev said at a meeting with delegates of diplomatic missions in the Central Asian nation, according to the president's official website.
Kazakhstan will continue to develop a future-oriented good-neighborly partnership with Russia and China, he said.
The president added that his country will also push forward a constructive strategic partnership with the United States and European Union nations.
In addition, Kazakhstan will deepen cooperation with countries in Central Asia, the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, Nazarbayev said.
He said Kazakhstan will continue to actively participate in international cooperation against terrorism, extremism and drug trafficking.
