KATHMANDU, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Complaining of deteriorating security situation and the government's failure to address the problems in southern Nepal's Terai region, a cabinet minister and three parliamentarians have announced their resignation as members of the Interim Legislature Parliament.
Minister of Science, Technology and Population Mahanta Thakur of Nepali Congress, parliament members Hridayesh Tripathi, Mahendra Rai and Ram Chandra Rai tendered their resignation at parliament secretariat Monday afternoon, nepalnews.com website reported.
